Amazing Game

If you're a fan of the NES you'll love this game. It's remarkable, funny and full of cameos everywhere. Check it out and let me know what you think. After I finished the game I realized that I should have done a Let's Play video. Darn.

Makin' Paper

So, I don't know if you guys are familiar with this but I setup mine a little while back and it's pretty okay. It's a solid extra $50 every two weeks which is fine by me. Check it out if you're interested.

Working on Content

I finally picked up a mic and have been working on producing some videos. I think I've got most of the kinks worked out so now it's just a matter of producing something worthwhile. I did a few draft videos but that seems pretty weak at this stage in the game so maybe we'll jump onto that once the new set is released. I can't wait to crack out on some Let's Play Diablo III...

Anything you guys might like to see on YouTube?

The Good News

I'm ready! Promotion!
So, well, yesterday, actually, I was told that I was going to be promoted to bar manager. Pretty sweet. Also, it turns out that the guy who was fired was because he stole a coworkers laptop on camera. Icing on he cake, he was saying that I was talking shit about every to him but they didn't buy it. Glad they chose someone who works hard for them over a heroine smoking thief.

Best of all, I think they're going to be kicking me up to something like $12/hour and I'll be making tips. Fucking score--that's more money than I was making at the Pasty!

I'm off tomorrow so I think I'll head down to Fry's Electronics and pickup a headset combo so I can start doing videos. I want to do some MTGO experimental drafts too just because it seems like no one else is doing that kind of thing. Drafting 3+ color decks is sort of my thing. Caravan Vigil, Traveler's Amulet and Shimmering Grotto make it all pretty damn easy when considering almost everything only costs one colored mana to cast. I haven't pinned down my pick order between the three cards listed above but maybe I can hash that out with the viewers after I get the videos online.

Advice on Video Capture Software

I've been pretty busy lately which explains my absence from the blog. I'm working for a new bar that just opened and there are a lot of things that need to be worked out by the owners. In the meantime I'm just tending bar as often as I can and stashing my dough.

Recently, I purchased S.T.A.L.K.E.R. at the recommendation of many others. I don't regret it. It's fun and different. Which brings me to my question: What capture software would you guys recommend? A lot of people seem interested in watching a stream of me playing the game but I don't have any capture software or know anything about where to begin. I honestly haven't begun to look for myself yet but that's just because I need to buy a mic first. It's just one of those things you don't remember you need until you're at home. I guess I could just buy one online. Hmm.
